Title of piece: Scarlet Lotus

Explanation: I chose to write a chapter of a fictional novel I am working on. The story follows the events surrounding three characters, Andrew, Reilly, and Ilya. In the past, Andrew had escaped a laboratory operated by an organization called The Scarlet Lotus. In the laboratory, Andrew was experimented on and became the first successful subject to gain infinite regeneration powers. After escaping, he traveled from place to place to avoid being caught by the organization again. During his journey, he met a mysterious young man with amnesia who seemed to possess two personalities: Reilly and Ilya. The three ends up traveling and working together in order to survive. I was inspired by several works that I have read in the past to create this story. One of the works being a manga called Dorohedoro, which I highly recommend for everyone to read.
